Kampung Melayu Flood Victims Enjoy Free Health Check-up Services

Flood victims in Kampung Melayu, Jatinegara Sub-district, East Jakarta are enjoying free health check-up services.

Many residents come for medical treatment

This free service was provided at the evacuation sites of SDN Kampung Melayu 01 and 02 Pagi, as well as the Kampung Melayu Community Health Center Office.

Kampung Melayu Urban Village Community Health Center Head, Dami said today's door to door service was provided to facilitate residents who want to check their health condition.

"Many residents come for medical treatment. However, for those who have difficulty walking, we provide services at evacuation sites," he expressed, Monday (3/3).

He explained there were two residents who were referred to the Jatinegara Sub-district Health Center because they needed further treatment.

"We refer to get more complete treatment," he explained.

He added this service involved eight healh workers.

"Generally, residents who seek treatment complain of coughs, colds, fevers, and headaches," he added.

The health service received appreciation from one of the flood victims from Kampung Melayu Urban Village, Rukmini (49).

"We would like to thank the health centers who were quick to provide health services at the evacuation sites and at the health centers," she stated.
